Education and training institutions, such as colleges and universities, have the opportunity to present themselves at the OFF-GRID Expo in their own area – the Education Mile.
Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Ulm University of Technology, University of Oldenburg, University of Ghana, University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm, Loughborough University presented themselves at the Education Mile 2022.
In addition, the Bavarian Research Alliance GmbH, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, GREEN Solar Academy Pty Ltd, Hub4africa.bayern and PV-Projects Agency were on site.
The Off-Grid Challenge is where students and bachelor and master graduates of the participating universities could present their thesis and be rewarded with a prize in the pitch.
The 11 presentations met with great interest not only from the jury, but also from visitors and exhibitors who followed the innovative project presentations. The award ceremony was then held in plenary session during the OFF-GRID Conference. The winners were delighted to receive prize money donated by Id-eee GmbH & Co KG, Fothermo System AG and Solar Cooling Engineering GmbH.
Roughly 60 exhibitors from 12 nations present their expertise and showcase their innovative products.
