Two compact, high-impact days full of innovation, networking, and international collaboration once again proved why the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference (OEC) is Europe’s leading platform for off-grid technologies and sustainable energy solutions.

The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference returns on October 30–31, 2025, in Augsburg, showcasing international innovations in decentralized energy, WEF Nexus, and local development.

During a Meet & Greet on May 10, the focus was on personal exchange, off-grid innovation, and introducing Messe Augsburg as a hub for international cooperation.

From October 30 to 31, 2025 the OEC will once again offer a global meeting point for experts and decision-makers and thus establish Augsburg as an important meeting point for the off-grid community and, for the first time, under the patronage of Thorsten Glauber, Bavarian State Minister for the Environment and Consumer Protection.

The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference (OEC) is not only a place for innovation and networking, but also a site of social engagement. Each year, the OFF-GRID-Sale is held in cooperation with Phaesun GmbH – exhibitors donate products to the sale, the proceeds of which are given to a charitable organisation. The sale at the OEC 2023 generated 2,500 euros – and offered another highlight as well: not only products donated by exhibitors were sold, but solar cases manufactured on site as well.

Practical solutions for sustainable energy supply in rural areas - this is what OFF-GRID Expo + Conference 2023 offered once again this year, making it the highlight of the end of the year.

As the leading platform for off-grid solutions and renewable energy, the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference 2023 (OEC) once again promises to be an event packed with innovation. This year’s international congress trade fair will take place on December 7-8, 2023 at Messe Augsburg.

The OFF-GRID Sale is held every year at the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference (OEC) in cooperation with Phaesun GmbH: exhibitors donate products that are then sold and the proceeds donated to a non-profit organization. 1,500 euros were collected at the OEC 2022, which will benefit the KarEn e. V. association.

The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference inspires as an international conference fair for self-sufficient, off-grid and a renewable energy and water supply in Augsburg.
