2023 OEC excited around 60 exhibitors from 11 countries. They met 900 visitors from over 20 countries.
Numerous delegations from the African continent visited the OEC as part of an information trip. Guest groups are already planned for 2025.
More than 35 speakers from over 15 countries presented their expertise in the conference program
The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference (OEC for short) at Messe Augsburg, Germany, is the hotspot for the international decentralized energy supply industry and practical B2B networking platform - the unique one in Europe. All participants benefit from the combination of the high-ranked conference and exhibition taking place every 2 years. All know-how transfer at the OEC directly contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) like SDG 6 – access to clean drinking water, 7 – affordable and clean energy, 8 – economic growth, 12 – sustainable consumption and 13 – climate protection.
Launched as a workshop in 2011, the event steadily attracted more participants and sparked increasing enthusiasm, including among exhibitors and event partners. Since 2020, the Alliance for Rural Electrification has been the industry partner focusing on a cooperation for the OFF-GRID Conference
